DAVID EDGAR

David is Founder & MD of Future Reality, Co-Founder & MD of FXPHD, President of Sunshine Coast Screen Collective, and a founding Sunny Coast Showdown committee member. With four decades in media and tech, he has held pivotal industry roles, partnered with Sohonet, and established a Hollywood-grade studio on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast.

BILL MISSETT

Bill Missett, Treasurer and founding member of the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective, has over 42 years in film and television. An expert in production, post-production, and editorial systems, he consults widely. Currently, he is producing feature films The 13th Summer and He Loves Me Not, alongside award-winning shorts from the recent Showdown incubator.

LOUISE HAYSE

Louise Hayse is Administrative Manager at fxphd, a leading online training centre for post-production and gaming professionals. She is Secretary of the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective and Executive Producer for the Sunny Coast Showdown. With broad experience and a strategic mindset, Louise drives growth and innovation across the Sunshine Coast’s screen industry.

LIVIA HANICH

Livia Hanich is an Emmy-nominated, Peabody and PGA Award-winning producer with over 30 years in the screen industry, largely in Los Angeles. She has worked for major US studios and networks on acclaimed drama, factual, and documentary productions. Now based in Australia, she produces high-profile series and serves as a founding board member of the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective.

HEATHER MACFARLANE

Heather Macfarlane is a senior producer, consultant, and production manager with over 30 years in film and television. A board member of the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective and founding Sunny Coast Showdown producer, she has held senior roles at Crawford Productions and a US network, and has lectured at QUT and Griffith University on screen production.

GARETH DAVIES

Gareth Davies is a producer with 25 years’ experience in commercials across Australia, New Zealand, Dubai, and South Africa, plus award-winning documentary work. A Sunshine Coast Screen Collective board member since 2020, he has produced for both Sunny Coast Showdowns and is developing the feature Lunar Eclipse to be filmed locally.

ANDREW MACCOLL

Andrew Maccoll is an Australian director, cinematographer, and creative director whose work spans luxury, fine art, and film. A graduate of AFTRS, his client list includes Apple, IBM, and Rolls Royce, he has worked with Matt Damon, Eric Bana and more celebrities, and has screened films at over 30 international festivals. His work can be found in the National Portrait Gallery.

LISA FITZPATRICK

Lisa Fitzpatrick is a media executive with over 30 years in broadcasting, content production, and event management. She has held senior roles at Seven Network, Network Ten, and Sony Pictures Television, creating and overseeing hit formats including My Kitchen Rules and MasterChef. A Sunshine Coast Screen Collective board member, she contributes to industry growth and Sunny Coast Showdown.

JON COGHILL

Jon Coghill, musician, journalist, and screenwriter, spent 20 years as drummer for Powderfinger, earning 18 ARIA Awards and topping Triple J’s Hottest 100 twice. He later worked as a reporter and presenter for ABC Sunshine Coast. In 2021, he co-founded the Sunny Coast Showdown with the Sunshine Coast Screen Collective to foster the region’s film industry.
